Take the 500-Mile Challenge


5 Months. 500 Miles.

The Circuit Trails aims to build 500 miles of trails by 2025. Now, we need your support. Show how much you value the Circuit Trails—by bike or by foot—by completing 500 miles on the trails this season (April 10 to Sept. 10).  That’s five months to complete 500 miles.

The Challenge

Step 1: challenge accepted

Whether you run it, bike it or walk it, just log it!

STEP 2: choose your path

  1. Personal 500-Mile Challenge: Using your favorite online tracker, or the challenge trail log, keep track of your miles all season long. Whether you’re on the trails training for your next event, commuting to work, or just getting out and enjoying the hundreds of miles of trails with friends and family, take the Personal Challenge to log 500 miles.
  2. Family 500-Mile Challenge: Looking to get the whole family out on the trails? Take the Family Challenge and log 500 miles as a family. That means a family of four can each log less than one mile a day on the Circuit to meet the Challenge.
  3. Walking Warrior 100-Mile Challenge: Are you a walking warrior?  If 500 miles is too daunting, or you prefer walking to running or biking, the Walking Warrior Challenge is for you! Log 10 miles a week on the Circuit Trails to meet the Challenge and find your 100s of miles of happy.

Share your progress. We want to see you on the trails and cheer you on. Post updates to social media using #onthecircuit.

STEP 3: challenge champion

When you finish the challenge, take a "challenge champion" selfie on a Circuit trail and submit it below. We will share your photos online, and anyone who completes the challenge will be entered to win a Fuji bike and other trail swag.
