Doylestown Bike & Hike Network
Historic Doylestown, located in scenic Bucks County, PA, offers visitors and locals alike an opportunity to explore the charming town and surrounding areas via a network of over 16 miles of off-road trails, shared roadways and side paths. The trails link the downtown area with neighborhoods, parks, and numerous other sites, including the Aldie Mansion, the County Theatre, Edison Village Park & Historic Area, Fonthill Museum, and the James A. Michener Museum.
Doylestown is dedicated to developing a strong bike and hike network, and continues to improve and expand their trail system as funds become available. The network of trails link the town to the Circuit via the Route 202 Parkway Trail, which can be found near Route 202 and New Britain Road. Via a short on road segment, from the Destination Peace Valley route of the Doylestown Hike & Bike, the trails at Peace Valley Park can also be reached. In the future, as the town expands its trail offerings, and as additional trails in Buck’s County are completed, the area will become even more intertwined with the Circuit Trails network.
