Cobbs Creek Trail

Cobbs Creeks Trail is a 4.2-mile trail and is part of the Circuit Trails network, a system of multi-use trails in the Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey region that when finished will include more than 850 miles of trails. Cobbs Creek Trail is also a part of the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile pedestrian and bicycle route between Maine and Florida along the East Coast of the U.S.

State: Pennsylvania

Location: Delaware County

Trail Length: 4.2 miles complete in multiple sections between Woodland and Island Ave 63rd St. When complete, the trail will be 5.5 miles.

Surface: Asphalt

Status: In progress

Getting to the Trail

Parking and Public Transportation Options

On-street parking is available along several of the local streets surrounding the trail.

The trail can be accessed by getting off at the 63rd Street Station of the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line, which is near the northern terminus of the trail. It can also be accessed via the Angora Station on the Wawa SEPTA Regional Rail line or the Darby Station on the Newark Regional Rail line.

This lush greenway, which travels for 3.7 miles alongside Cobbs Creek, offers the perfect respite from summer heat. Enjoy a dense tree canopy as you travel on an off-road route which passes through a scenic neighborhood. Visit educational, historic and recreational sites along the way and follow the 58th Street Greenway that links to additional sites and trails.

Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Darby Creek Valley Association, Clean Air Council and East Coast Greenway, all members of the Circuit Trails Coalition, often host events on the Cobbs Creek Trail.
