Hello, I am Jacqueline M. Santiago-Vicente, Executive Director of NCCG. This mission started in 2017 to reinvigorate family-friendly events that can be enjoyed in the city of Camden. The event is a mix of an educational experience for the community geared towards environmental sciences to reduce social ills like blighted lots, understanding e-waste, and understanding how to properly recycle. In addition, residents will be able to see how empty blighted lots can be transformed into an urban oasis and grow their own food. Participating families get a garden pass in which they will visit different tables to get educational information.
