Get pumped! Opening Day for Trails is next weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s only the second week of spring, and the trails are already showing significant signs of activity – joggers, bikers and others have dusted off their bikes, grabbed their running shoes, and hit the trails with friends, family and furry companions, to enjoy the outdoors after a (long) winter season.

Opening Day for Trails is an annual celebration organized by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) that marks the unofficial start of trail season, where community members come together nationwide to explore and enjoy the benefits that multi-use trails have to offer our communities.

Here at home #onthecircuit, we’re celebrating with some excellent events all across our region in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our trail partners and organizations have lots of excitement planned. From nature walks and bike rides, to trail cleanups and birding classes, there’s an event for everyone to enjoy.
