Meeting at St. Martins Lane and Huron Street

Join us for a dynamic fitness hike through some of the Wissahickon’s most beautiful and varied landscapes! We’ll start along Cresheim Creek, exploring different kinds of terrain, and visit highlights like the Fingerspan Bridge by Jody Pinto, the Frog Pond, and more. This 2-hour hike has become a favorite go-to adventure in the Wissahickon—it is challenging, scenic, and deeply rewarding. This hike is appropriate for adults ages 18+, and service dogs are welcome.

Please note: this is a difficult hike designed for fitness enthusiasts ready for a fun, heart-pumping journey through the woods.

Distance: 4 miles

Level: Difficult (many inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)

Registration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.

Unless otherwise specified, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain. Service animals are always welcome. For more information contact Marisa Miller at miller@fow.org. Visit www.fow.org for updates.
