Rancocas Greenway: Pemberton Rail Trail
Anchored by a beautifully restored 1892 railway station, the 2.5-mile Pemberton Rail Trail owes its existence to a dedication of the Pemberton Rotary Club who was responsible for the planning and developing of the trail. The Pemberton Trail is not very long, but is rich in history and a perfect destination for railroad enthusiasts. Begin at the historic station, located on Hanover Street in Pemberton. From here head out on the 1.6 mile crushed stone trail that was once the corridor for rail service between the town and nearby Camden. The setting is quite bucolic and the tree-line route is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists (road bikes are not recommended) as well cross-country skiers. For more information click here.
