The Schuylkill Crossing Project is now under construction and when completed will be the only operating bicycle and pedestrian swing bridge in North America. It is projected to be completed in 2019. It will connect Bartrams Mile Trail with the Grays Ferry Crescent and will eventually connect with the Schuylkill River Trail.
