The Circuit Trails are a vast regional network of hundreds of miles of multi-use trails in the nine county region of southeastern Pennsylvania, and central and southern New Jersey. Some of the region’s most iconic trails — the Schuylkill River Trail and Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk, the Manayunk Bridge, Cooper River Trail, Pennypack Trail, Chester Valley Trail — are part of the more than 300 miles that currently make up the Circuit Trails. When the approximately 800 miles of the Circuit Trails are connected, Greater Philadelphia will have a trail network unlike any other in the country — connecting the urban, suburban and rural communities of the fifth largest metropolitan region in the U.S. A group of more than 65 non-profit organizations, foundations and agencies are working together to advance completion of the Circuit Trails through the Circuit Trails Coalition.
The Circuit Trails Coalition includes representatives from trail development and transportation organizations, local governments, private funders and more who would be happy to provide insights to media. If you would like to speak with an expert, or are a member of the media and seeking additional information, please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
