The Landing Kitchen – Bala Cynwyd, PA

Conveniently located off the Pencoyd Trail with a connection to the Schuylkill River Trail, The Landing Kitchen serves healthy, seasonal meals with a view of the river. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or coffee, it’s the perfect spot to fuel up after a ride or walk along the trail, coming from the city or the suburbs.

Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse – Philadelphia, PA

If you’re near the Pennypack Trail and craving some top-notch barbecue, Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse in Philadelphia is the place to go. This beloved BBQ joint is known for its slow-smoked meats, hearty portions, and homemade sides that keep customers coming back for more. This spot will be even closer to the trail when the portion of the Delaware River Trail from Cottman Ave to Pennypack on the Delaware is completed. 

Skil-Lit Cafe – Trenton, NJ

If you’re exploring the D&R Canal Trail or the Delaware River Heritage Trail, pop off the trail for brunch at Skil-Lit Cafe. Known for its inviting atmosphere and delicious menu, this cafe offers a variety of breakfast and lunch foods and specialty coffee drinks, including the “Lit Latte,” a Mocha French vanilla latte topped with crushed Oreos, Nutella and whipped cream.

Platform Z – Bala Cynwyd, PA 

Platform Z is a trendy spot that offers much more than just your typical coffee shop fare. Positioned right at the start of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail (and accessible via SEPTA’s Regional Rail Cynwyd Line), Platform Z makes for a great way to start or end your trail trip. Whether you’re in the mood for a rich cup of coffee, refreshing bubble tea or a light and delicious poke bowl, there’s something to satisfy every craving. 

Conshohocken Brewing Co. – Conshohocken, PA

Along the Schuylkill River Trail in the heart of Conshohocken, you’ll find Conshohocken Brewing Co., a fantastic stop for craft beer lovers. Known for its wide variety of expertly crafted beers, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, the brewery offers something for every palate. The brewery is welcoming to trail users, especially cyclists, as there’s a bike rack right outside the tap room.

The shop’s inviting vibe adds to the experience, making it a fun, refreshing destination for trail users of all ages.

Ice cream flights? Say no more! If you’re enjoying the Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail, just a short trip away you’ll find Hilltop Creamery, a sweet spot for a sweet treat. Classic cones, sundaes or milkshakes, Hilltop offers a variety of flavors that will satisfy your taste buds after a nice walk, ride, roll or stroll.
