Get Outside and Celebrate the Circuit Trails on April 25
Authored By: The Circuit Trails | April 13, 2026
Saturday, April 25, is Celebrate Trails Day, an annual springtime celebration of America’s trails that takes place on the fourth Saturday of April. Hosted by our partners at Rails to Trails Conservancy, it’s a day dedicated to inviting everyone outside to experience the paths that connect people, places and nature.
With over 420+ miles of multi-use trails across Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, there are endless ways to explore the Circuit Trails network on Celebrate Trails Day – and every day after!
Momentum is building across the Circuit Trails network, with more connections bringing people closer to the outdoors and to each other. Celebrate Trails Day is a chance to recognize that growth, and to highlight our continued progress.
Circuit Trails Coalition members are hosting a wide range of events, from community festivals and bike rides to family friendly activities and nature experiences. Whether you are a regular trail user or exploring for the first time, there is something for everyone to enjoy #OnTheCircuit.
As you explore events happening across the region, consider taking one more step: make your voice heard. Reach out to your county’s local officials and share why trails are important where you live. Advocacy today helps ensure these spaces continue to grow tomorrow.
Capture your moments of celebration #OnTheCircuit and share them with us as part of our ongoing 500 Moments #OnTheCircuit campaign. Make sure to tag us on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
