The Circuit Trails connect people across Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey to destinations, communities, neighborhoods, parks, schools and one another. Now, we’re building a network of Circuit Trails Outreach Ambassadors to help more people discover and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

The Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC) and the Circuit Trails Coalition have launched a new Outreach Ambassador Program to train community members to represent the Circuit Trails at events, public gatherings and other outreach opportunities throughout the network.

Circuit Trails Outreach Ambassadors help people learn more about the network and find the trails that are close to home or get them to the places they need to go—whether they’re looking for a family-friendly route, searching for a trail near home or looking to find the best path to commute to work.

Interested in becoming an ambassador?

A virtual orientation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026 from 5-6 p.m. via Zoom to introduce participants to the Circuit Trails network and provide outreach training. Anyone who completes the orientation will be eligible to represent the Circuit Trails Coalition at future outreach events. Paid opportunities may be available to trained ambassadors, subject to funding and program needs.

Can’t make the live session? The orientation will be recorded, and watching the recording will also make you eligible to participate.
