Join the National Bike Challenge on the Circuit Trails

Calling all cyclists! Grab your helmets and handle bars and hit the Circuit Trails May 1 through September 30 with Communities in Motion and the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) as part of the National Bike Challenge.

Organized by PeopleForBikes, the National Bike Challenge is a free online platform that allows riders to log their miles to earn points, compete for prizes, challenge family, friends and colleagues, stay motivated, and understand the health and environmental implications of their trips. Joining the challenge also helps increase awareness of cyclists nationally and locally and advocates for improved infrastructure to protect riders and encourage biking year round!

In addition to the national challenge, riders who register with an address located within Chester and Montgomery Counties will be enrolled in Communities in Motion and TMACC local challenge. The local challenge has an emphasis on biking to work and encourages workplaces throughout the region to create a team and sign up!

As part of the local challenge, Communities in Motion and TMACC will be hosting community bike rides on the Circuit Trails, fun bike events, monthly challenges, awards, and more! BikeSport and PNC Bank will be giving away prizes throughout the four-month challenge.

The community bike rides are open to all participants and will be held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. on the Circuit Trails:

May 11 –      Schuylkill River Trail: Meet at Reynolds Dog Park at 1000 Longford Road in Phoenixville.
