Location (name and address): Cobbs Creek Playground, Cobbs Creek Pkwy & Thomas Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143

Cobbs Creek Celebrate Trails Day will celebrate its sixth year running on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 10am-2pm at the playground/park area at Thomas Ave & Cobbs Creek Parkway just north of Whitby Ave.

Brought to you by Clean Air Council and the Cobbs Creek Watershed Coalition, this free event will kick off at 9:30am with a WeWalk to explore the paved Cobbs Creek Trail. Beginning at 10:00am attendees can interact with over two dozen exhibitors offering family friendly games, resources, information, education, and activities for residents to connect with including sharing ideas for the upcoming Little Nature Playgrounds on Cobbs Creek Trail. The event will conclude with a raffle and a chance to win prizes. Thanks to Healing Through The Land for providing snacks and refreshments for participants.

The day’s schedule is filled with free activities including horseback riding, a birding walk, fishing, book giveaway, and more.

The Council is looking for volunteers at the beginning and end of the event to help exhibitors unload and load their vehicles and generally help around the event site. Email [email protected] if you’re interested in helping.
