APRIL 26: Celebrate Trails Day Walk on the Ben Franklin Bridge
Come take a walk to celebrate how essential the Circuit Trails are for bringing our communities together—across rivers, regions, and state lines. Hear from leaders who represent the power of infrastructure and community to show what’s possible—and what’s at stake.
Time: 10:30AM
Location: Franklin Square Park
The Circuit Trails do more than connect places—they connect people. They offer moments of joy, a breath of fresh air, a safer way to get around and a way to feel rooted in our community. Whether you’re walking to work, biking with friends or simply pausing to take in the view, trails bring daily benefits that improve our health, happiness and quality of life.
Thanks to strong local leadership and federal support, the Philly-Camden region has seen an incredible surge in trail funding and development, reinventing what’s possible when we prioritize trail connectivity and unlocking new possibilities for how we move and connect in our communities.
Following several years of incredible demand for trails, our region’s love for safe places to bike, walk and be active outside has never been more clear. But funding at the federal level is being heavily scrutinized, making support for and commitment to advancing trail development in our neighborhoods more important than ever. Decisions being made now will shape our communities for generations.
