The Circuit Trails Coalition’s Maintenance Committee, in partnership with Camden Greenways Inc, is hosting a practical Trail Maintenance Workshop for all who work with or love trails. This event is designed for volunteers, professionals, and community groups alike. It will feature a morning classroom session and afternoon outdoor hands-on sessions led by regional trail and recreation experts.
The outdoor sessions will include a tour of upcoming Camden LINK Trail and a hands-on session where participants can choose to dive deeper on vegetation (invasive and native) management, and volunteer recruitment and management for paved, gravel, and natural surface trails.
The event is organized through a partnership with Camden Greenways Inc, Trust for Public Land, Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership, Clean Air Council, and Friends of the Wissahickon. Sponsored by Clean Air Council, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
