Even though every day is Earth Day for us as FOW, we always love to do something extra special for the Wissahickon every April 22. This year, we are celebrating Earth Day with a three-location service event! Come out to help us make our little corner of the world cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful. Locations and specific projects can be found below.
No experience is needed. We provide gloves, tools and instruction – you just need to show up! Volunteer service Days are excellent, easy ways to help us take care of Wissahickon Valley Park. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and bring a water bottle with you.
